Max Kaplan is the former founder & CEO of Orangefin Ventures, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Sol Strategies, publicly traded on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE: HODL) and on the OTC Market (OTC: CYFRF). In 2024, Max sold Orangefin Ventures to Sol Strategies after growing it into a business with $140M in assets under delegation and one of the biggest validators on the Solana network. Before founding Orangefin Ventures, Max spent 6 years working at Kraken where he was the first engineers ever hired and led the DevOps and Data Engineering departments as senior director. Outside of the tech world, Max can be found watching sports or training for his next triathlon.
